Today I was sitting in clinicals and my rotation this week shares a space with ultrasound. A few ultrasound tech's have offered to scan me but I haven't had a chance yet to do it and quite frankly it actually hasn't been very convenient even though I work pretty much directly with them.
But as I said this week I share an office with them and realized, "Oh, they can scan me like today!" So Carson is on his way over and we'll get our first view of our baby!
Originally I just wanted to just see the baby. I didn't want to find out today what we're having. I planned on waiting until our 20 week appointment at the Dr.'s office but Carson thinks we should. The sooner we find out, the sooner we can start planning.....I was kinda hesitant, but I gave in...I think we'll do it!
So quite possibly, if the tech can tell, we will be finding out the sex of the baby TODAY! I am 16 weeks which they are able to tell at this time.
So, what do you think? Boy? Girl? Let us know. We'll see if you're right!

I'm going with a girl. I can't speak for Ivan though. He will have to leave his own comment but I am betting that he guesses a boy. He always does. We're way excited for you guys!
ReplyDeleteThose pictures are kinda creepy!
ReplyDeleteI guessed a boy.
ReplyDeleteGIRL!
ReplyDeleteSo excited for you guys Rachelle! Oh yes, 6 months will fly by (Isa is already 6 months old!) and before you know it, you will for sure be juggling that little guy around school, work and life altogether! I remember the awkward baby bump stage, the constantly feeling tired, etc. It's definitely an experience, but as strange as this sounds, I do miss it. Embrace it!! :) I was due April 11th, so I'm right there along with where you are at! So excited for you!! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI called him a boy. Even ask Carson.
